### Step 1 - Log Into Ensis

Check your email for an invite from your organization’s admin to create your Ensis account. Admins can invite team members from the **Settings** page. Once your account is set up, go to [app.ensis.ai](https://app.ensis.ai) to log in. You can also find the **Sign In** link at the top of [ensis.ai](https://ensis.ai).

### Step 2 - Create a Proposal

Click **New Proposal.**

<figure><img src="/files/isqZGkxHB4kMow6EmoX3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Choose between **Fast Draft** and **Full Setup**.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/neBFwlafCcQfMCEXxwlA" alt="" width="355"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Step 2a - Fast Draft

With **Fast Draft**, you only need to import your opportunity and name your draft proposal. Ensis will then parse requirements from the opportunity, create an outline, generate responses to each requirement, and create a narrative-style proposal all on your behalf.

<figure><img src="/files/a0h3QzpOYpapIjKT3ylx" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Step 2b - Full Setup

**Full Setup** gives you complete control over your proposal creation process. You decide exactly where Ensis extracts requirements from within your opportunity files, how your proposal is structured, and after Ensis generates draft responses for each requirement, you can edit and refine those responses so they flow seamlessly into your section narratives.

#### Import your opportunity

Name your proposal, and upload your **Opportunity File(s)**—the RFP documents you’re responding to. Ensis will analyze these files to help structure your proposal.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/66DNLBkO8RGyR5ryXVmZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Add strategic proposal details

Input win themes, differentiators, and any other strategic information you want Ensis to leverage when generating content.

<figure><img src="/files/c3Xgjza6B3okLCtYWzMF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Edit company information, if needed

If needed, you may establish proposal-specific company details. Otherwise, your company name and contact information will reflect what you have stored in your main Settings page. This section is helpful for proposals where you may do business as a different company / team name or if your contact information changes from proposal to proposal.

<figure><img src="/files/H0XpQcKeRPDenk7YYJki" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Set your response and narrative formats

Finally, you can change your response format, choosing between bullet points or paragraph style, and adjust the line spacing of your narrative to match the requirements of the RFP. Click next to proceed to requirements page selection.

<figure><img src="/files/jcg5lMEdy3NJHqCt5hmJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Select page ranges for requirements extraction

Ensis allows you to specify which pages should be scanned for key requirements, ensuring precise extraction. Choose an extraction option for each Opportunity File:

* **Select All Pages** – Ensis AI will scan the entire document for requirements.
* **Specify a Page Range** – Enter a custom range (e.g., 5-25) to focus extraction on relevant sections.
* **Select "No Requirements in This Document"** – Skip requirements extraction for this file if it does not contain key requirements (e.g., cover letters or appendices).

<figure><img src="/files/xgDyGCWuyKvIggBooMmH" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Build your proposal outline

Click the **Outline** tab to create create your **Proposal Outline.**&#x20;

**You may manually create an outline** by adding, removing, and renaming proposal sections and sub-sections to align with your strategy.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/ZSTvPuLzQtTpe0wopUyZ" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Or, click **Extract Outline** to let Ensis AI suggest an outline based on what is required per the RFP, as well as the RFP structure itself. Review and accept the extracted outline to add it to your proposal.

<figure><img src="/files/UedFyscHL2tmVICAf0JG" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Review key requirements

Ensis automatically extracts key requirements from your uploaded RFP. Once processing is complete, open your proposal from the **My Proposals** page. Inthe **Requirements** tab, review the extracted requirements to ensure completeness.

<figure><img src="/files/Rjn3ch3orfbyx7oNDPSt" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Organize your requirements

In the **Requirements** tab, you can organize extracted requirements into proposal sections. You can either:

* **Manually sort** using bulk selection the **Organize** button.
* **Click AutoSort** to let Ensis AI intelligently categorize requirements for you.
