Step 2 - Create a Proposal

Click Start a new proposal.

Name your proposal, and upload your Opportunity File(s)—the RFP documents you’re responding to. Ensis will analyze these files to help structure your proposal. Input win themes, differentiators, and any other strategic information you want Ensis to leverage when generating content.

Step 3 - Select page ranges for requirements extraction

Ensis allows you to specify which pages should be scanned for key requirements, ensuring precise extraction. Choose an extraction option for each Opportunity File:

  • Select All Pages – Ensis AI will scan the entire document for requirements.

  • Specify a Page Range – Enter a custom range (e.g., 5-25) to focus extraction on relevant sections.

  • Select "No Requirements in This Document" – Skip requirements extraction for this file if it does not contain key requirements (e.g., cover letters or appendices).

Step 4 - Select relevant Resources

Choose Resources to inform content generation—they may include past proposals, company knowledge, and other relevant materials.

Step 5 - Extract and review key requirements

Ensis automatically extracts key requirements from your uploaded RFP. Once processing is complete, open your proposal from the My Proposals page. Beginning with the Requirements tab, review the extracted requirements to ensure completeness.

Step 6 - Build your proposal outline & organize requirements

Return to the Requirements tab to organize extracted requirements into proposal sections. You can either:

  • Manually sort using bulk selection the Organize button.

  • Click AutoSort to let Ensis AI intelligently categorize requirements for you.

Step 7 - Generate and refine proposal content

In the Ensis Editor, write your responses or use AI to assist:

  • Click Generate with AI to draft content for a specific requirement.

  • Click Generate All to populate all empty responses in a section.

Refine text with AI by highlighting the content you want to revise and clicking Revise. Enter a custom prompt to guide the revision, then click Next. To reuse the revised text for future content generation, select the Store this fact for future responses checkbox.

Step 8 - Generate a cohesive narrative

Once responses are drafted, click Create Narrative at the top right. Click Generate Narrative to let Ensis produce a structured, compliant section based on your responses.

Step 9 - Verify Compliance
